Here U Belong

Everyone wants to have a community that sees, loves and supports them in their Journey toward becoming all that they were created to be.

The Terp HUB is a United Methodist-led campus ministry at the University of Maryland College Park. It is a community where people find their place of belonging so that they might journey toward becoming all that God has created them to be so they might be love at UMD and beyond. 

Belong: The Terp HUB is a faith community where all people feel valued. Everyone is welcome no matter what. We celebrate and welcome differences while being rooted in the Spirit. We co-create inclusive space for all students, regardless of theological stance, race, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender identity. 

Become: By growing in faith, trusting and feeling secure in our God-given identity, and focusing on God’s call on us, we can become agents of change. At the Terp HUB we ask good questions about life and faith rather than claim to have the right answers.

Be Love: When we live and love like Jesus people can see and feel God’s love through our being. We multiply impact as we join the work that God is already doing in the world and invite others to come and see for themselves.
